Hi everyone,

I have just started TTC.
Everything I read about ovulation says that you need to look out for EWCM but I only ever have watery CM every month. Also according to my cycle and a calculator I am supposed to be fertile from 20th - 25th and ovulating on 24th. Well the only cervical mucus I have had was on the 15th 2 days after my period ended which was watery. Does it have to be EWCM because I've never had that :/

Xx

Cervical mucus lives by the cervix and often doesn't make it down to your knickers... if that's how you've been checking it.

I have watery cm rather than ewcm. It’s still fertile so don’t worry too much if you haven’t got ewcm! The two times I’ve had ewcm since ttc have been after having something up in my cervix (smear test and a cannula for a HyCoSy) so it’s usually there but just doesn’t always come out
