@Daffodils86 unfortunately she was born prematurely (five weeks before I was due to have a caesarean) and died the following day but it had nothing at all to do with the fact she was conceived in the cycle immediately following my last miscarriage.

I dont even know what to say. Thats so sad and unfair. I think you are amazing for getting through all you have, and for still offering your advice and wisdom to myself and others.
Am i right in thinking you are trying again at the moment?

Thank you @Daffodils86 and @weasledee Yes I am tentatively trying again although it’s scary and I keep swaying between desperately wanting another baby and being too frightened to risk losing another one.

So sorry to hear about your losses @TheDinosaurRoars I can't imagine how heartbreaking that must have been. Thank you for having the strength to share it with us.

I am literally a woman obsessed at the moment. I'm on CD 10 of a short cycle so high fertility at the mo & am testing opks twice a day but no sign of a positive yet. DTD at least twice a day 😂 tiring stuff. But I am so obsessed about being pregnant again, I literally dream about it. I'm sure being on holiday helped me conceive first time around & that all this focus and obsession won't help but not sure I can do anything about it!

@Cakelaur I definitely couldn't do that for 8 days! I think I'm only fertile for about 4 days? Eeek I don't know! But for the 3 days before ov and day of we're attempting twice a day...am already a bit knackered though 😬🤦‍♀️ he's not complaining tho!
@Cakelaur are you in the tww? I'm dreading the start of it..I'm so impatient and hate that there's nothing I can do.. or is there?!

@BabynameEdie I'm currently 7dpo and DYING to pee on a stick!!! I feel really good about this cycle. So I'm totally relaxed. But the wait is starting to get exciting!! Haha!!

@Llondbol I'm due to ovulate any second so desperately waiting for it! Last month I ovulated on day 17 (which is today) but I havent gotten a positive opk yet. Had lots of EWCM Saturday and yesterday so any day now......c'mon!!!!! I'm charting for the first time and had a slight drop this morning so hopefully it'll spike tomorrow!
Wow @BabynameEdie good going!!! We have been having our little afternoon delight session when DS is napping 🤣 Then at night we just crash! Haha. Much easier to get in the mood on holiday though- think I'm a day time fan! 😉😂

How's the holiday @Boboelephant we go away end of April and I can't wait!! So many exciting things ahead of us! Haha! I'm going to test on Wednesday. Which will be 9dpo. If I can find the strength I'll wait til Thursday. I have a manic week this week at work so I MAY be able to hold out!! Haha

@Boboelephant totally with you on that - am def a daytime fan & holidays are great for it! We don't have any children so I think it's probably easier for us to find the time. Must be tricky with little ones around!

@weasledee Me 🙋🏼 2dpo (I think maximum) not feeling optimistic though hubby went away on Friday we dtd before he left but that's it x

@Boboelephant @Cakelaur I feel you ladies are super opk testers & I need some advice - how many times a day should I be testing?

@Cakelaur missed your post about poas - hope you can hold out til as late as poss, it's so good when work keeps us busy isn't it- makes the days go by a little faster & with less symptom spotting. I'm really not looking forward to my tww, I know I'll get my hopes up 😏 but hey ho. Stay strong til Thurs! 🤞

@BabynameEdie I'd do twice a day from around cd9 ( I usually ov around cd14) but I have cbfm and then go cheap opks. Once it starts getting darker I may do three a day but I get high and peak on the cbfm which is pretty obvious. (I just like poas) haha

@BabynameEdie I’m not an OPK expert lol but I use the cheap test strips and they work perfectly well for me. I test twice a day about CD11-14 then I test three times a day CD15-17 as I usually O on day 16 or 17. Twice a day is probably enough but the OPK’s are so cheap and I’m a POAS addict so I test more than I need to lol. I normally keep testing until it turns negative again, then I start the TWW. But like I said I’m definitely no expert 😂

I’m on CD9, still got 7 or 8 days until O so I’m not constantly jumping on my OH just yet haha 🤣

@BabynameEdie yep it can be tricky with DS! There's been a few awkward times when he has barged in! 🤣 I am also a bit of a poas addict. I tend to just do one a day until I start getting ewcm and then 3 times a day. I am on day 3 of the cm but no positive yet. I do know that my pos line only lasts about 12 hours so i don't want to miss it. I only buy the cheap ones so not worried about wasting them.

Good luck to all in the TWW!! I’m on CD10, I think I will be ovulating sat/sun...not long till the games start for me! First month of using evening primrose oil, so I’ll let you guys know if I notice any difference.

These TWW are the worst

I'm day 12 since cycle started for 3 days I've had cervical muscas this morning I had a bleed mixed in with mucas , this is my first cycle since my MMC in February Anyone experience this at all or do I need to see the doctor ?

@lovewinemorethanhusband was it just a lil bit? I had this last month my first cycle since miscarriage around the same time. Just thought it was left over from miscarriage at first & left it stopped after that day. But then got spotting this month too. I think it's ovulation spotting. I read up on it & it says some ppl get it when their more fertile? ( which it says you are after miscarriage) never had it b4 miscarriage. So I'm just thinking of it as another sign to bed! X
