Hello to everyone here on Mumsnet! I am new and would like some advice as I think I am going a little crazy, I don't know many of these abbreviations, so I'll see how I get on!
Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for 2 months, so naturally I am not expecting immediate conception and I am very relaxed, if it happens it happens!
My periods are regular and sometimes come around a little sooner than expected, they are extremely heavy and cause me a lot of pain. I have seen a DR about this issue and there is nothing to worry about! Just how it is for me unfortunately!
My period is now currently four days late (due on 16th) however I did start to spot on the 17th. This spotting lasted two days and was so light I only saw faint stains on the tissue after wiping.
We have regular sex, so we have made sweet sweet love during my ovulation window.
I decided to take a test this morning and got a BFN (see I know what that one means ;) )
I don't seem to have any symptoms other than feeling nauseas at random times of day throughout the week (now as it happens) and cramps, I get those anyway but these are actually a little less painful and I think a little sharper?
I have a very busy DR's surgery and don't fancy going unless I can sense some sort of health problem, but there doesn't seem to be one standing out to me! I noticed the sickness and thought the pork joint I cooked in the week was a bit rubbish, didn't think much of it until my period started being silly!
Does this sound like pregnancy? Or anything you ladies might have experienced?
I took the test this morning when I woke up around 5am! (I have annual leave for a week so I got straight back into bed after that!)
It was a Clear Blue digital
I just don't really know what to do! I understand there's a slight chance of pregnancy, or is it likely that for some reason my period has just decided not to be here this month? Any of you lovely ladies (and possibly gents?) got any advice for me?
Thank you for listening to my rant!
I hope you are all having a fantastic day!
