Spotting or surly period..what is this!?

Hey guys

My period isn’t due until Sunday/Monday but I woke up this morning with brown blood..enough that I have to wear a liner. I never, never get an early period...so could it be implantation? I have had to pregnancies before and never got implantation bleeding so just not sure... I ov’d early last week and have been having unprotected sex for the past two/three weeks.

Just following on from this.. has anyone had spotting during implantation? If so..what did it look like?

I raised this with my doctor last year and was told that implantation bleeding in itself isn’t all that common. If you do get it, it would mostly be very light pink or light brown and show when you wipe. It wouldn’t be enough to wear a pad or tampon and you certiainly wouldn’t be questioning your period.
I thought I had it last year too but turned out it was a chemical and my proper period arrived a week or so after the light spotting.
