Hi everyone. This is month 1 of ttc #2 and already I'm driving myself mad. I hate being so impatient but I can't help myself. I have quite a long cycle (currently cd 21), usually around 40 days. As yet I haven't ovulated but surely it's any time now! I take my test every day and getting to the point where if I see another damn flashing smiley face!!! Anyone else in the same boat? X

I had so many flashing smiley faces the first month I gave up that month but I got one the month after. I was told it takes a while for the monitor to get used to your body so its common to get lots of flashing smilies the first month. Now I use the cheap opks from amazon and then when the line is nearly as dark as the control line I use the clearblue to pinpoint ovulation. I have found this way is much more effective! I now only have to use normally 2 or 3 clearblue a month to get that solid smiley. Hope this helps!

Thank you. I started testing too early but thought my cycle might have been different this time? I've had 2 weeks of flashing smileys now so hopefully one of these days it'll be static lol. X
