Hmmm. Am I pg?

Strange happenings going on and wondered if anyone could answer this?
Normally periods like clockwork but last one was at 3 weeks not 4 weeks. Very unusual for me.
Now just had an ever so slight bleed at what must be day 10.
DH and I dont use much in way of contraception I suppose as I always know when I am Ov. Wouldnt matter either way if I was (perhaps secretly pleased?)
Am thinking am I pg/ is this implantation bleeding/ something more sinister/ should I go ahead with the smear booked on fri or not?

i would postpone the smear, good luck sounds promising!

I was worried that it might be something scary actually. Hadnt really considered the pg thing seriously.

You can buy a test for a £1 isn't it worth a £1 just to stop wondering and worrying?

Just gave a boxful of bloomin tests to my friend after I had M/c in feb.
Look if I had a period 28th April, cant possibly be pg can I?

Ps: where do you get tests for £1 ?

1. you could be pregnant

2. it could be an ovulation bleed (I read about this on another thread recently)

3. you could have had a very early miscarriage (this is what happened to me and it went pretty much the way you are describing)

You need to get a test.

If it is positive you also need to have a scan because of all the bleeding.

Test for £1 in the chemist by me.

I think it looks like it could be too early to test though. Cant you phone your friend and ask her to bring some tests back round? Just so you have done one?

I had an ovulation bleed a couple of days after I thought I ov'd, it could be that. At day ten it's unlikey to be implantation. Perhaps your last period was infact an implatation bleed. Tanke a test. Also remeber that sometimes our cycles can go out of sync which maybe why your last period was early.

I have heard about ovulation bleeding but didnt think you just started to get that all of a sudden. Thought you would have prob had it on and off for years if that's what happens in your cycle.
This is odd behaviour for me.

I have an unbelievably cute 16 week old ds4, sitting in his chair grinning at me right now because I thought I knew when I ov'd too.

Funnily enough my had arrived early when I conceived too.

sorry to crash this thread, but I am 5 dpo CD 19 of a 28 day cycle... I had a bleed this morning and it has never happened before, had a positive OV test on Friday... is too early for me to test...???

Hmm Ladytophamhatt yes it would be no4 also,(struggles with oversized sunglasses back up nose and straightens wig ).

sorry my cycle is usually 32 days one month 28 days next and so on....

I ovulated on Friday and I am now 5 days past ovulation and day 19 of my cycle.. I think I have had an implantation bleed, and just wanted to find out whether it is way too early to test...??

no I've been trying for 2 years had one mc and one ectopic where I lost a tube so it has been a bit of a slog, finally got referred to a specialist after a session of uncontrollable crying at the doctors, I can just imagine having to go back tomy doctor now to tell her that I got PG naturally- how silly would I feel!!!

Do you really think I should test, It is 9 days until my period is due, surely I wouldnt have any hcg detected???

They say that implantation bleeds can happen up till 10 days after ovulation so I sould have some hormones?? I don't know....arrrrrrrrr!

i think it might be a bit too early to test bluebell, however lots of MNers have had a
+ve result 4-5 days before their period is due so you could test in a few days..

I really hope it is +ve for you

Well, I personally never test more than three days before I am due as my nerves cant stand it. Hang on a little while longer lovie.
