Too early?

AF due 30th March but going on a weekend break from 23rd with friends (boozy) I don't want to risk anything but is the 23rd too early for a BFP or BFN?

Clearblue do an early detection test which claims to detect pregnancy 6 days before your missed period. So maybe the 24th? But you could still be pregnant & get a negative if you ovulated even slightly out! Smile

Well i would do a test before you go away anyway and if it's a bfn (which I hope it isnt) then go and drink but maybe try and go a bit easier on the drink like have some water in between or something. We can't be perfect during the tww we have to enjoy life! Have a fab weekend x

It will be BFN because it'll be too early to get a BFP. In any event, drinking at 3 weeks' pregnant is NOT going to cause any issues to the baby as it's not sharing your blood supply in any way at that point. FWIW, the cycle I got pregnant with DD was the booziest month I'd had in a LONG time due to my hen do plus a visitor from Oz for the wedding which led to a fair amount of drinking. I was hungover when I got my BFP! 😂

Yeah to add to that it was my birthday the week I got pregnant & I got very drunk, found out a few days later & the pregnancy & baby were healthy. Lots of women drink when they don't know so I also wouldn't worry to much & just enjoy your weekend Wine

Go, drink and enjoy. It's too early to test and to early for the booze to do any damage anyway!
