TTC #2 April BFPs

Following on from our last (many) threads, this is one for anyone hoping for a Christmas baby number two.

My stats -

Age: 35
Cycle: 24+ lost count..
DC: 3yo this month
AF due 19th April
Not a hint of a bfp in that time

I'm charting now and send myself crazy every tww so come join me for the bumpy ride x

CatRen27 oh no I am sorry, FX maybe it was a false reading but this big temp drop is implantation dip. Not out till AF arrives.

@TwittleBee that's a messy line but it's in the right place so I'd still take it if it were me. Do you have any other tests around as the colour is fairly strong you might get a positive on something less sensitive.

Yeah I have got a few others around think I'll wait till tomorrow though as I'm only 8dpo today so surely they won't be showing anything yet?

That is a strange line Twittle, but it’s very clear. I’d test again tomorrow.

Defo looks like a bfp @twittlebee looks like some pee has got under the laminate and smudged it. take another one tomorrow morning and if that was a bfp you should get a pretty decent line! 🤞

I've been a bit absent lately as getting very depressed with it all. Seems all around me people are falling pregnant or popping their second borns into the world... I've still been reading the thread though.

Cariad, I really feel your pain. I'm onto cycle 16 next so only a few behind you. And not a hint of a bfp from me in all that time either....

Hope your HyCoSy proves useful....I am due one, just waiting for the appointment date.

On another note I have my first acupuncture session tomorrow evening - well, initial consultation anyway. Anyone here had it? How was it? Tbh I am just getting desperate, old and willing to try anything...

Hey lopey i was thinking about you, glad to hear from you again. I had acupuncture during my pregnancy to relieve rib and pelvic pain and i really enjoyed it. It didnt really hurt like I'd expected and was surprisingly relaxing. Let us know how it goes, I'm also thinking about it for fertility but not really sure where's best near me. Please do stick around while ttc, it wouldn't be the same without the old gang(cariad I'm looking at you too)

I had some spotting yesterday that has stopped now, which is annoying as I'd rather just have af and get on to next cycle. Nursery drop off was tricky this morning, surrounded by mums with younger/older siblings in tow and it just feels like I'll never get there. I'm sure my parents think I'm spoiling DD but i feel like we have the time/ money to spend as its only one child. I also worry she's going to be stigmatized as an 'only' child and will miss out on all the play and challenges of siblings. Urgh sorry for the vent, it feels so unfair.

@catren27 I totally understand about the nursery drop off. I feel like every time I drop DD off someone else is pregnant or arriving with their new born.

I am 4dpo and driving myself crazy already. I thought that it may be easier this month since I have avoided OPKs and just generally trying to be more relaxed. I guess I'm going to try and throw myself into work to take my mind off it. What day do you ladies normally test? I was so determined to wait until AF was late but now I just want to know as soon as possible.

9dpo and I'm spotting! And rather than getting excited that there's a chance it could be implantation I'm more devastated because i dont think it is. This happened last month, 4 days before AF due I had the lightest spotting ever which turned out to be AF lasted 4 days in the end didn't even need to use anything because it was literally only when wiping (sorry) but after that i feel like this is gonna be the same AF isn't due for another 10 days. It's usually regular as clockwork...for years. Why start playing up now 😭 feel so deflated. Sorry just needed to rant lol

@catren27 I feel for you. I feel exactly the same about having an only child. I have told myself and my son (not my husband 🙈🤣), that it we haven’t had another baby or fallen by Christmas this year then we’re going to get a puppy! And I’ll have a fur baby instead 🐶

I had an emotional trip to the Drs this morning as I’m worried about this cyst and dying and my son not having a Mum (wowzers by head has been doing overtime!). Because I was quite distressed she’s fast tracked me so I can get my next follow up appointment within the next two weeks and I have blood tests on Monday. Still no sign of ovulation but I’ll keep going through the motions. Our plans to have sex for 10 days straight kinda went out the window on day 2 🙈

Can I join late to the thread ladies? This is exactly me. My gorgeous daughter is 3 in August. I’d love a sibling for her.

We’ve been trying since she turned 1 but nothing. It took about 6 months for her but that included coming off contraception.

I bought some OPKs off eBay last month so I’m hoping we are doing it at the right time. However my daughter is a poor sleeper and I work night shifts. Sometimes we are like ships in the night!

My fertility app says AF is 1 day away and I feel completely normal. We did it only once in my fertile time though.

It seems everyone is popping out there second or third. I try to be happy for them but I’m jealous

Welcome roxy! We've also got a may ttc#2 going for May bfps so come join over there if you need to! Good work on the opks - certainly helps pinpoint things. Are you testing tomorrow then? Exciting!

No af here yet and she was due yesterday so no idea what's going on! I have tiny amounts of pink spotting but that's it. Temps are still high too. I'll obviously keep peeing on sticks in a blind hope I'm one of those strange cases of late bfps dreaming

@catren ah I'm hopeful now because I haven't had any since first thing this morning! Really trying not to get my hopes up though, and I've not got any tests in the house this month to deter me from POAS everyday 🙄 I've just read your last comment about temps staying up, I feel like mine have been all over... after O they spiked then remained relatively the same the dipped from 36.6 to 36.1, then back to 36.6 yest and this morning 37.2 😖 I don't really understand BBT yet it's my first month tracking it this month, am I right in thinking if it starts to dip AF is due? And it just helps to determine when O has happened?

Any news @TwittleBee ?!! So many bfps... hope it's my turn this month too but not feeling preg at all!!! 9dpo... ish... not a single symptom that I don't usually have before period anyway spots , but weepy etc but that's my normal before period unfortunately...ah well!

lolacola13 Well after that smudge weird but certainly there line yesterday I've decided I'll test again tomorrow. Boobs are killing me and my skin has totally broken out which was same for DS around this time. (Don't usually get skin break out post ovulation). When's your period due? (I've only a 12 day literal phase so mines due Friday)
