Should I visit my doctor

Hello all,

I’ve posted this on infertility too sorry I’m not sure if this is allowed!

I had an ectopic pregnancy a year and 3 months ago and lost my left tube - all very traumatic which I’m sure you call relate to!

After my surgery The doctor said I was healthy everywhere else so could expect to get pregnant without much issue. Here’s where the problem is, we’ve now been trying for over a year and nothing has happened. Been taking all the vitamins and using OPKs, doing yoga, lost weight etc.

Question is do you think I should visit my GP and ask for tests or do you think they will turn me away because I’ve been pregnant before? - I’m not sure what the guidelines are for someone in my situation.

Any experience from you guys would be much appreciated.

Thank you xxx

Definitely get to your doctor. Once you've been trying for a year they'll normally start testing. Hope you get some answers too. So sorry for your ectopic.

Yes I would contact gp, I waited too long before going to my gp and then going onto a waiting list for further investigations and tests. I now have 2 beautiful children but I waited a long time for them due to me delaying the initial gp appt.
