4 days late, white discharge?

Hello ladies,

I hope you can give me some advice. I have just come off the pill (last withdrawal bleed in mid February). DH and I had unprotected sex twice on 2 March. After that, I had constant cramping, some spotting, and now my period is 4 days late - I am having lots of white CM instead (sorry TMI). I tested twice 2 and 4 days before my predicted period date with a First Response Early Response and first morning urine but got 2 BFN.

Do you think I should retest now? I am on a work trip and having occasional drinks but I'm feeling constantly guilty thinking: what if?

It's more likely to be the side effects of coming off the pill - namely your body trying to cycle on its own. Your period may well not be every 28 days and it may take time before your cycle becomes regular. Creamy cm simply means not fertile. Clear and/or stretchy means fertile.

By all means, test every week or so if you like, but don't get your hopes up from Dtd twice in a few weeks.
