I've been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 year now so beginning to lose hope. I was 43 in January and still have regular periods but all my other children have been conceived within 3 months (last one was at 35). Please tell me some of you have managed to have babies without medical intervention I just need something to stop me feeling it's time to give up

I did. Had DD1 at 37 and then struggled to both get pregnant and not miscarry. However once we gave up trying I fell pregnant with DD2 who was born the week before my 43rd birthday.

I had twins with zero med intervention at 41 and gynae told me last week ovaries still fully functional at 49.

Good luck!

Hi Happy - I had DC1 after a year of ttc at 42 and DC2 was born 17 months later when I was 43, conceived first month of ttc!

Have you considered having the routine tests done e.g. Day 3 and 21 blood tests?

So good to hear success stories,I sometimes feel greedy being sad that I'm struggling to conceive because I've got 4 amazing children already but that want doesn't go away. Keeping thinking I'll go to see a doctor for tests but my partner is more of a if it happens it happens person so I keep putting it off.
