Hi Ladies,
I thought id join and post on here to see if I could find any answers that I am unable to online..
A bit of background as follows -
I got married a year ago and immediately have been TTC...No luck at all and all of a sudden my periods stopped in September 2017. After 4 months of no periods I went to my doctors and was told I have PCOS, he put me on 1500mg of Metaformin which tbh did not agree at all with my body, I became really ill, bad tummy, being sick, basically most of the side effects..So I gave it up and then all of a sudden BOOM my period started on the usual date in January, I was estatic..it lasted 7 days (4 days longer then usual) and was really heavy (I wasnt complaining though) ..anyways to cut a long story short, it got to February and instead of starting my period, on the same date I started spotting, very very light only when I wiped with a tissue, first it was brown, then it was red, it would stop for half a day, back on for a few days, back off for a day and back on for a week...now its over 3 weeks later and im still spotting..One day that I stopped (around 2 saturdays ago) I had sex with my husband as I thought it stopped for good..only to finish and see that were both covered in bright red blood (sorry TMI) that night it actually leaked in my pjs, so I thought the sex had maybe started my period..but no. The next day I spotted brown and since that have just been spotting..again yesterday it stopped so I had a shower and had sex..later on I started spotting again..very very light this time..Has this happened to anyone? I havent ever been on the pill, never had kids, not been on meds now since my periods stopped and only took it for a week if less and keep getting negatives on every pregnancy test going..and this is all started since ive been TTC harder...any help?! I have arranged a doctors appointment for next wednesday as its so difficult to find time to go there with work but I just wanted some views on if its happened to other people and what the cause could be....please let me know your thoughts :)
