Af due today. Bfn test !! Any similar experiences???

Hi. I know there are so many threads about these things and I've been looking at so many! I'm just not sure what I'm really asking as no one will really have an answer . Anyway ...

Came off cerazette start of sept. Got a bleed on 30th sept . Next bleed wasn't until 6weeks plus a 3days from then. After that the next bleed was 5weeks and 1 day, then 4 weeks and 3 days and 4 weeks .and now here we are ,4 weeks and af is due today.

We'd been TTC since my period seemed to have appeared again at the end of sept. I've no idea when I ovulate.i heard it can take months when stopping the pill but I know everyone is different. So was just having sex as regular and more in the middle of my cycle and since last cycle and cycle before were 4 weekish I was having sex from day 10 - day 16 at least !

It's been so so disappointing not getting pregnant and from last week I've had a few cramps and twinges plus slight back pain. I had cramps yesterday and today as well as sore boobs so I keep expecting af to show. I did a hpt which was bfn.. trying to remember how I felt with dd but she's 5 so I can't remember! I was young and didn't take any contraceptive and my periods wasn't something I paid attention to!!
Has anyone experienced period like symptoms when they were due and ended up actually being pregnant ?? Thanks ladies xxxxx

Hi there, thought I would give you a reply as you haven’t had one yet- sorry if I am not much help, but hopefully it can bump your post a little.

I do remember at the start of this pregnancy that I was absolutely waiting for AF to show every time I went to the loo. The pains were identical to period cramps. I am not sure whether this was before or after my BFP though. You might have just implanted a little later and get your positive in a couple of days . Until AF shows her face there is still hope :) good luck xx

Still no AF today! Having really mild cramps and like u said I keep expecting it to show. I will definitely try and wait a few days before I buy anymore tests .

Also just thought I'd mention for few days I've had like no cm which is so uncommon for me (except for right after period usually) I dunno if I'm just trying to convince myself but ... Ughh!! I'm just really hoping I'm pregnant !!

When did you last test ? If AF was due a few days ago, buy a FRER it really is the only way to know for sure! X

I was due on Saturday, took test, bfn. Then retested Tuesday (nearly killed me waiting but I was trying not to waste tests) and got bfp. DD2 is now 1. We tried for her for 15 months. Good luck.

I did one earlier cuz I'm so impatient . Was negative . So I'm not really sure what's going on. I know people have said it took a few weeks for them to get the positive from a hpt.. either that or else af is just late !! Never had these cramps or anything unless i was on my period ... So I dunno. Think I'm just clutching at straws now I feel a bit deflated. Thanks for ur messages RLOU88 xxxx

Aw- really am sorry to hear your latest update. You could have implanted late or anything so you’re not officially out until your out (and that bitch AF shows up). Take it easy and look after yourself x

Aw thank you you're right - unless af shows then there's always a chance! I'll try and not stress about it and wait another 3 or so days before testing again (if af hasn't appeared) thanks so much again xxx

I am in the same boat, came off cerelle in December - had a bleed in Jan, AF Feb, and this months was due Friday but nothing yet. BFN tests.... but today i have this weird pain on the lower left side which feels like something pulling. Ive read loads of threads and the only thing that makes sense is "implantation cramps". Before my last AF i had all the pregnancy symptoms possible, but wasnt. This time ive had nothing except these pains today! I think when taking Cerelle (cerazette) its a waiting game - hard to predict, hard to plan! I mean if I am having "implantation cramps" then I would have ovulated 2 weeks late! Frustrating.

Awh I know it's so frustrating! I was hoping because my cycles were getting shorter since stopping cerazette so 6weeks 5 weeks 4weeks then 4weeks it would be 4weeks again.!! I've been cramping too! No idea what it could be though. It's so frustrating especially because every wee thing feels like a symptom ! Are you TTC ? Good luck xoxoxox

@ellsharks oh no I hope u feel a bit better soon did AF show yet ? I'm still waiting and I got another bfn there so I have no idea what's going on - just want af to come if it's coming and stop torturing me !! Good luck with TTC 💕 xxx

Hi! I'm new.

Joined because I'm in the 2WW and feel like I'm going mad symptom spotting.

This is our 2nd month TTC and I just feel a bit odd. AF was due yesterday/today (my cycles have varied from 27-29 days since having Mirena coil removed at the start of December) I had a little bit of pink blood on Sunday (1 wipe - sorry if TMI) & then a bit of brown on Monday (again, hardly any at all). I used a FRER on Sunday which was negative. Then I couldn't stop myself yesterday so took a Clearblue plus which was also negative.

But still no AF - I usually get cramps the afternoon before I come on but I just don't feel like I normally do. My husband has taken our remaining 3 tests to work with him today so I can't do more until Thursday (I work from home which is a nightmare for being distracted on this site & taking tests at random times!!!). Based on my calculations today I am 16DPO. No idea whats going on!!!

@LP17 maybe you tested too early ?? Esp since you've had some pink spotting that's
a good sign :) it's a good idea that your DH took your test to work until Thursday Def do one on Thurs morning and let us know :)) it's a flipping nightmare this waiting and late periods and symptoms . It's driving me crazy. Good luck 💕💕

@Cali13 I share your pain!!! My potential symptoms include a weird patch on my hip that carries on going hot? It's under the skin so nothing visible on the surface...the exact same place a few times a day on one side. I started googling as it is so odd but I can't see any posts where anyone reports the same so now I'm worrying my leg is going to fall off as well as very sore boobs (although not today??), a much better mood than my usual PMS (as noticed by my husband) though I have also been a bit teary a couple of times but not actually crying.
I don't have any children yet & as far as I know I've never been pregnant......I had no idea it was so difficult?!

@LP17 that's a very strange symptom , I'm certain your leg won't fall off though I've had sore boobs too but it's kind of gone now so I have no idea what is happening ! I did a poundland test this morning which was negative . I keep trying to think back to when I was pregnant with my little girl but we weren't really trying there and I didn't keep track of my cycles so I don't even know what made me test back then! Very frustrating this waiting game. Hope to hear some good news for u on Thursday xoxoxo

Hi, sorry to hear you are going through this I had the same last cycle I was 2 weeks late and was almost certain I was pregnant achey boobs, nauseous the lot but never got a positive pregnancy test! Went to the doctors had blood tests 2 days later AF turned up!

@Cali13 It is, isn't it!!! My closest friends seem to have got pregnant on their first go which seems to be quite rare & I find it mind blowing when you look at what actually has to happen!

Last month I just used a calendar to estimate when I was going to be fertile & ovulate - that made us dtd every night 'just in case', it was a bit more relaxed this month as I used OPKs and was able to identify when I ovulated, which was not when the calendar suggested last month. However, I naively didn't consider the 2WW at all & it's potential to drive me insane.

How many DPO are you? Must be so hard trying to remember that far back - I suppose once you have a BFP so many other things must take over the memories in your head!

@holzyb20 ah and it showed up right after you'd been to the doctor !! Typical. I keep thinking I must be making myself imagine these symptoms now if I had another bfn. Sorry you didn't get your positive . Wishing u luck for this month xxx

@LP17 I know I think when people aren't trying to get pregnant they aren't as stressed about it all and maybe that's why it seems so much easier for them. I'm using an app called clue which estimates OV but I know it's not going to be 100% .. I think I can usually tell by my cervical mucus when I ovulate (sorry tmi) but I'm flipping bone dry down there now which is quite unlike me . What OPK do you use ?
So since af is late the app says the last day of my fertile window was 13 days ago..
It's all so confusing xxx

@Cali13 I used Clue and I found it a bit rubbish when I actually got pregnant because without a period to put in it kept moving when my fertile period for the previous month had been and kept 'predicting' my period would start the next day i.e. kept moving it all along regardless of how late I was.

I wrote to the app about it because I think it is super confusing for anyone trying to use it for fertility.

Not much help in your current situation I know! Ovia I think is better having used both. Just wanted to share some sympathy for the confusion!
