Hello

First time properly using the FF ap. I had downloaded it previously and attempted to measure my BBT but DS was still waking through the night and my BBT really was all over the place.

Could I have some clarity on the charts please? The Calendar doesn't actually show any fertile days (Yet in the Colour Code Key for the Calendar it states that the fertile days will be in a dark green block?).
I used an OPK this month which is why I think the Calendar is light green for the ovulation day. But shouldn't it show I am fertile before that?

On the Chart with the BBT lines, does it mater that my BBT dipped after rising post OPK predicted ovulation? It states that 3 consecutive days means ovulation has occurred?

Basically, have I actually ovulated? I know OPKs are said to be not reliable but I am unsure of the BBT records I have charted too.

Am I using this app right?

Also is it worth the money to buy the VIP features? Just seems like a lot of money for an app!

I'd say you have ovulated when it says, with a fallback rise (which is pretty common) on 3dpo. OPKs can't tell if you ovulate or not - they can tell your body is preparing, but not that you've ovulated.

Fertility Friend shows your 'usual' ovulation days in dark green, if you have some cycles' worth of data. If you have no previous data, then it won't show that. Checking your CM and stuff is a way more reliable indicator of fertility than relying on previous cycles anyway.

P.S Those green blocks in your CM line indicate your fertile days this cycle.

Ah lovely thank you!

I knew it says on the Chart legend that those green blocks indicate fertile signs but was just confused as to why it didn't show those on the Calendar too!

Checking my CM does seems to tally up and is a lot easier, I will ensure I keep following that too

No, you can get this for free. You can pay to get more features though.
