We've just started trying to conceive, and yes we've left it late in life but this is the right time for us.
Didn't succeed last month but just gotta keep on trying.
Had tests done month's ago and my fertility is good as periods regular.
Any helpful tips? And yes I know it's not good being overweight.

gyno told me the same thing a couple of days ago...why does everything come down to " weight"..it puts your body under stress to try and lose weight to get pregnant...i think the happier you are within yourself the better..:) just my thought..ttc at 43 soon 44...want one last baby before 45...all my kids are gown...

I had ds at 43. I conceived on the third cycle. No fizzy pop and lots of green veg!! Folic acid, no coffee or alcohol.
Ttc at 44.6 and no sticky bfp unfortunately.
Go for it op - best of luck.

Helpful tips? Start saving up for egg donation.

Like you I am overweight but have regular periods. I had a mmc at 39, but was fortunate enough to have my dd at 40. However since then I have lost two more pregnancies at 42 and 43, one of them due to chromosomal abnormalities. I'm now 44, and would love another baby, but am coming to the point where I don't believe the risks are worth it.

Some women conceive their first baby at 45 with no issues, but they are in the minority). Even if you have regular periods, your egg quality is not guaranteed.

Sorry to be the voice of doom, but I think it's better to be realistic when time is of the essence. Best of luck though, start on the folic acid and vit D, and try Ubiquinol for egg quality. Oh, and if you can lose a bit of weight in the meantime it really does help with energy levels and recovery.

Thank you for being realistic. My sister said to be careful last year when I mentioned it.
Just got so much love to give. My partner he's 56 soon so not spring chickens!
Been taking folic acid but nothing else. Will look at other's. Might try B- Complex too.
Thank you 😊

Good advice. Thank you.
I've been drinking bit more caffeine than usual recently. I'll take your advice too.
Just makes you think am I doing the right thing?
Would be great parents.
Thank you 😊

Thank you for your reply. It's nice to have somebody else who thinks like me.
When you're maturer it just feels like the right time. For us a lot of thing's were obstacles. Now the pathway is clear.
I'm going to try and eat better but dieting is detrimental to health sometimes.
More protein more veg and water.
Thank you 😊
