Withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill

Hello all,

Avid reader, first time poster. My partner and I are TTC (first time). I stopped taking the pill after 8 yrs at the end of a cycle on 15 Feb and just had what a think, after much googling, was a withdrawal bleed Friday-Monday. Is that normal? Should the next one be my first ‘proper’ AF? Advice gratefully received!

Hi I came off the pill in January to try for baby number 2 I had what I think to be my withdrawal bleed on the 22nd lasted few days then stopped. I thought I was getting my proper period on 22nd Feb but it was really light brown and lasted about 2 to 3 days since then nothing until today where I'm getting little lower back ache and sorry for too much information when wiping very light brown again so have no idea what's going on. X

Nothing is normal when you come off the pill as everyone has different experiences. It could be either really but either way you can still get pregnant so if you havent already get a tracker app and ovulation test sticks so you can figure out when you ovulate. I wish I had done this straight away!
