Test Trouble

Hi there, so a little background I'm 20-years-old in a stable relationship for the past two years and I feel like I'm pregnant. After coming off the implant nearly a year ago I'm an avid test user when I just get a general 'weird feeling'. I took a test this morning and I had the weirdest result!

I used a Tesco's own brand test and it says that in order to be pregnant there has to be two vertical lines (one in control window & one in results). Right away there was a faint horizontal line in the results window! Confused me to no end and it the one in the control window was very strong.

After a couple of hours of trawling through forums, I was no closer to getting answers so I read a couple of others said to take a test a couple of hours later and if the result is the same, you can eliminate test faults. So I did it again and same thing happened! Very faint horizontal line a little lower done this time.

I feel like I'm going crazy, does anyone has any insight?? Confused

I'd use another brand of test. It could just be a dye run or from test being flooded. Try a pink dye if Tesco is a blue one.

Sounds like you maybe got urine on the test... try dipping instead.

I’ll go and get another test when I have time - it’s so bizarre! Hopefully will get more confirmation.

When I take a test I always cover the test window with my fingers as I’m taking it so I know no urine comes into contact with it so I don’t think it could be that..

I’m trying not to feel too hopeful (it’s so difficult not to get excited over miniscule signs!)

Dip the test. It can flood in midstream regardless of covering the window.

Sounds like a faulty or flooded test. Get another one, preferably a pink dye one. Horizontal lines don't mean anything.
