How long can sperm live inside a woman's body?

Hi there,

I'm just trying to figure out whether I could be pregant. I DTD with DH and then he went off on a business trip. I ovulated a week later. AF should be due on the 14th but I have very sore boobs. I never used to have this as an af symptom. I had a mc though so it could be due to that. I am cycle 2 post mc. What do you think?

The maximum is 7 days but they would be weak , so yes it's possible to be pregnant. Also you could have ovulated earlier than you thought.

Most die with 12hrs, those that reach the uterus/tubes generally live for around 72hrs. They can live for up to 7 days in the absolute perfect conditions.

I've heard that post mc women are super fertile for 6 months so maybe I have perfect conditions!

I'd love to hear from anyone who thinks they got a bfp with 7 day old sperm!
