So I have been on a short protocol for IVF treatment due to having PCOS, taking Bemfola and Cetrotide for two weeks. On Friday 2nd March I had egg collection. On the Saturday I felt ok, a bit worse for wear but not too poorly. On the Sunday I felt absolutely terrible , I couldn’t eat or drink and was awful! We rang Manchester fertility and told them how I was feeelng and they said I must get my self to hospital
The symptoms I had was vomiting , bad pains in stomach, dizziness, unable to eat or drink, feeling totally drained.
I was due to have transfer on day 5 which was cancelled due to OHSS.
I was in hospital for 6/7 days , the clinic said they could freeze the embryos and put them back on another cycle
Anyone had any other experience of this before?
