Are you working? If not may I suggest sitting down and resting for a bit, perhaps with a cuppa and a book/film. I think at times like this with so much uncertainty it's important to take some time for ourselves and do nothing. Do give the doctors a call because of your previous history. I hope you're ok

I am waiting for a call back from my gp.

Believe it or not I am a doctor. I am due in work in the hospital this afternoon. I did try to go through the back door and called the Gynae on call (I have done this job) to see if they would do bloods for me to decide once and for all whether it's failing or not, but I didn't know him so he said I would need to be referred by GP. (I know this is naughty but I know a couple of my ex colleagues who I know well would have done this).

I know a scan will show nothing at this stage. I also know that this more than likely was never a proper pregnancy or one that is failing, but I think I would like to get bloods 48 hours apart to reassure myself that there is not one clinging on but not in the right place.

After the initial fresh bleed there is nothing more than a bit of pink on the pad.

I have had a half day's "rest" after a weekend of 10.5hr hellish shifts. I know it's silly but part of me wonders if I had had a less stressful weekend then this one might have "stuck". 😕

I had this with my pregnancy, assumed the worst but then bleeding stopped and pregnancy continued. I hope you manage to get some answers soon, the not knowing is horrendous xx

Sorry to hear you went through that worry orange horse. When did your bleeding start? I am trying to explain it away with implantation bleeding etc but I don't think it is the right time. Have never bled with either of my pregnancies (1 live birth, 1 ectopic)

Pouring out of me now. Definitely heavier and crampier than my normal period. 😕

It's ridiculous as even though my "period" wasn't even late, it is way heavier and more painful than usual. Called in sick today. Just so fed up and can't face a busy stressful day at work.
