TTC aged 37!

Hi,
I might sound like a nutter here!.....

My story is this. DS took two and a half years to conceive and I had him aged 26 ( after being told we couldn’t conceive!)

We tried to give him a sibling straight away and haven’t stopped trying ( 11 years now!)

We’ve fostered three children and adopted two beautiful girls in that time, as we were determined to have the family we wanted and not let not conceiving stop us!

Now I have 11 year old birth son, 5 year old adopted daughter, 2 year old adopted daughter.

We had given up hope of conceiving years ago and focussed on fostering and adopting ( though never stopped ‘trying’).

Now I’m 37 and now the stress of the adoption process etc is behind me I feel confident we will conceive!

I know that sounds crazy after 11 years trying!!!

If I don’t conceive, I won’t be upset as I have a beautiful family already.

But I’m not giving up on another pregnancy! I’m not a quitter

I am rooting for you!! Such a lovely story which gives me hope TTC#1 on cycle 8 with a horrible feeling I cant have kids (illogical I know) but you have shown you can have a family no matter what. Life is what you make of it. I really hope you get what you want, but your attitude of being grateful for what you do have is so refreshing. You deserve that baby!! Thank you .
