When would be best to test?

Hi, sorry for the long post, I came off the pill in January, had a withdrawal bleed on 21st lasted a few days then had what I thought was first proper period but it was only very light brown and hardly needed a pad, seemed to last a couple of days, have no idea when and if I've ovulated, did notice a little niggle on Sunday round on the right Side which may have been ovulation, have done a few tests which are negative, think I may be due af round 22nd of March, going by what I was last month, just wondering when would be best to test?, I was on cerelle. Thanks in advance. X

If/when your period is late. Your body will have a few months where it is acting strange and irregular when coming off the pill while it readjusts. It’s completely normal.

Get tracking it all on an app. Some people get long cycles for a while after coming off the pill. You need to go through a few cycles until your body settles down and you’ll have a better idea of timescales. Obviously sometimes people can get pregnant in the first month so I would wait until around 22nd to test this time.

@Bubblegum89 that's what I was thinking cause don't want to keep testing too early and have bfn. Hoping things are returning to normal.

@stellarfox what is a good app to use? Hoping things will get back to normal soon. That's what I was thinking, testing round the 22nd.

Apps- personally I use Ovia and Glow. It's a little hit and miss as they tend to be a day part in telling when I'm supposed to be ovulating but that's close enough for me- we just dtd every day in those fortune windows!

@BDFT I think I've heard of ovia app worth a go, might not tell hubby about it though cause don't want him to feel under pressure but at the same time need to be dtd little more often if we're going to have baby number 2 and I'm more aware now of my age going to be 37 next Wed. X

Haha my DH rolled his eyes last night when we we both shattered lying on the sofa. I told him he still had to do it! He's been googling all sorts of stuff so I don't think he minds all that much! 🤣

@BDFT lol! Hubby said he was knackered last night from the previous night and I said well if we want another baby then we need to get busy haha, hopefully tonight and he's off for a week now so fingers crossed and he has said he'd love for us to have another babba 😄
