Not sure if I've completely lost my mind (sleep deprived from 5mo!) but I woke up this morning with the urge to test. AF not due until tomorrow.

Opinions?!

I definitely see something.

When is your period due?

xLeanne128 · 08/03/2018 08:32

I can see something too..

happytobemrsg · 08/03/2018 08:34

I can see something!

SprogletsMum · 08/03/2018 08:34

I can see the suggestion of a line I'd test again in a few days

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 08:35

Well, I did a FRER I found in my draw and I guess there is no denying! Thanks for the replies!

Congratulations! Xx

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 10:08

@xLeanne128 thank you so much!

I'm in complete shock. I only had DS 5 months ago!!! Keep having waves of pure joy and excitement and then complete and utter fear! 😂

Congratulations!! I got pregnant with DD when DS was 8 months old. I was also a bit scared but love the close age gap. They are just 1 and 2 and a half, and so sweet together

xLeanne128 · 08/03/2018 11:27

My husband and his brother have a similar age gap. It will be bloody hard but atleast it's a double whammy and if you don't want more children it's kind of good haha. Goodluck for a happy and healthy 9 months xx

SummerRayne17 · 08/03/2018 13:02

Hi OP, i was getting positive pregnancy tests when my DD was 16wks old. (I tested as had no periods) i got referred to EPAU for blood test etc and it turned out I wasn't pregnant. It was left over hcg. Don't want to quash your happiness, but just thought i would mention it. All the best 💐

Pandoraphile · 08/03/2018 13:21

Leftover hcg from 5 MONTHS?!

SummerRayne17 · 08/03/2018 13:32

Like i said, i had positive tests when my DD was 4mths old and I was not pregnant!

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 13:58

@SummerRayne17 I actually did a test yesterday for the same reason and it was completely negative! But thank you for your message! Xx

OP posts:
unicorncow · 08/03/2018 14:28

@SummerRayne17 I'd say you had a chemical at 4 months after the birth, any trace of hcg would be long gone by then!

unicorncow · 08/03/2018 14:28

@jitterbug5 congratulations!

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 15:35

@unicorncow thank you!!! I'm a bit less shocked now, and more excited!! Just want to see DH!!

SummerRayne17 · 08/03/2018 16:33

A positive test was even more of a suprise to me as i had a tubal occlusion at the same time as my c-section!

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 19:26

@SummerRayne17 sorry you found out you weren't pregnant! That must have been a complete rollercoaster of emotions Thanks

Thank you for all your replies everyone! I did read them but forgot to reply, as you can imagine today's been a bit of a blur! Smile

Sooooo terrified and excited at the same time! I'm so worried about people judging Blush I knew I wanted them close together but I wasn't expecting it this close!

We have 13 months between ours. Be prepared to be asked if you don't have a TV and other witticisms like that!

It's bloody hard work initially (though great being pregnant with a largely immobile / slow-moving child to look after!), but ours are 4 and 5 this summer and it's getting way easier to do stuff and just get on with things. They have some corking arguments though! 🙈😂

jitterbug5 · 08/03/2018 19:41

@NoWordForFluffy 13 months! How lovely! I've read a few places that say the first 6 months are the hardest. I'll remind myself that if I'm having a particularly hard day!

DS actually sleeps through and has since he was 10 weeks or so!! (Apart from a couple of weeks when we hit the 4 month regression!). It was only recently when I read a thread on here that we were incredibly lucky that he already was so at least I'm prepared to perhaps be not quite so lucky the second time round! 😂

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 08/03/2018 19:43

You may be lucky. I'm honestly so glad we did it this way; they're great mates and have fun playing together in the main.

And it is what it is. You'll cope; you have to!

StillMedusa · 08/03/2018 20:02

I had a 4 month old when I found myself pregnant again...it was fine :)
(then a mini pill failure which meant I was expecting no 3 three months after no 2 was born...it was still fine)

Mine are all so close now!

StickThatInYourPipe · 09/03/2018 16:09

Congratulations OP!! Flowers
