I can't watch it... for the last two years since we started ttc.

sophi22 · 07/03/2018 21:20

@irishmom yep! Watching and feeling very envious right now, always gets me a bit emotional too!

I’ve made the mistake of watching it. It’s bittersweet. On the one hand, I love watching new babies being born (was recently my younger sister’s birthing partner) but on the other, I get this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach because I know that it’s not going to be me getting the new baby. After 18 months, I would give pretty much anything to be where they are :(

Rhiana is my sister,
I pray for all of you! Xx

MrsM2017 · 07/03/2018 21:56

I'm watching it - love seeing all the different birth stories and hoping it will be me one day (having a bubba I mean - not going on television! 😂)

SoozC · 07/03/2018 21:56

Never seen it. I might never have a baby of my own, I'm too bitter and getting old.

Well done all of you who aren't jealous and can watch. I don't know how you manage it, really don't!!

Bubblegum89 · 07/03/2018 22:18

Sooz I had a cry when it was over because I felt so sorry for myself lol

demirose87 · 07/03/2018 22:21

I've got four and I still feel a bit sad. I've been sterilised so it will never be me again. Then I slap myself as my youngest is only 5 months and I feel incredibly grateful for my children. I don't think that broody feeling will ever completely go.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 07/03/2018 22:51

@Bubblegum89. I saved it and then couldn't bring myself to watch it! I'd give anything to feel the pain of labour again and smell that wonderful new born baby smell.

Serenity04 · 07/03/2018 23:37

cant watch
9 years trying for 2nd with no help from drs and multiple early losses

anotherchangetomyname · 08/03/2018 15:41

I can't watch it as it flares up my PTSD. It's the part I really really don't want to do again. It's also horrifically inaccurate!

Aprilmightmemynewname · 08/03/2018 15:46

Watching it makes my fanjo wince.

demirose87 · 08/03/2018 15:48

I feel for anyone watching that episode last night who is currently pregnant as it was quite traumatic and upsetting. So though I'll always be a little bit broody I'm thankful that chapter of my life is done. Pregnancy and birth can be a really worrying time.
