Improving FSH and AMH levels

Hi There,

I am new to Mumsnet and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of improving AMH and FSH results naturally. I have high FSH and low AMH and I am wondering if there are clinics (not IVF) that offer services to help you improve them and if anyone has had any experience with them?

Any advice on improving these results and experience with it would be a great help.

Thanks

Those tests are an indication of egg quantity. Numbers can vary a little bit each time you test.

However, when getting pregnant, you need to be more concerned with quality. You only need one good egg.

Some studies suggest there are ways of improving egg quality. A good summary of these studies is given in the book 'it starts with the egg'.

Hi, I also have high FSH, and have recently started TCM (traditional chinese medicine) and acupuncture to try and lower it. Still early stages though so can't tell you if it works or not!
What is your age and FSH / AMH if you don't mind me asking?

You can’t increase amh or lower fsh- it’s impossible, because you can’t make any more eggs.

However as said above, egg quality is more important than the number of eggs you have, and there is no test for this other than age. It is also possible to improve egg quality through diet, supplements etc.
