11dpo 4 days of spotting - am i pregnant?

Need advice!! I started spotting brown discharge 3 days ago (8 days dpo) and i am still really lightly (only notice a tiny amount when i wipe). I never usually spot so this is unusual for me! I’ve also had dull headaches and felt slightly sick on a morning at work. Im now 11dpo and wondering if its too early to take a test. Im due on saturday but dont want to wait that long! What test is the best for early results?

FRER are the one I see recommended most but if you look on the boxes it'll tell the sensitivity. Generally, digital tests are less sensitive and pink dye tests are more reliable.
You might get a positive at 11DPO but if you test before you're due you always run the risk of getting a BFN even if you're pregnant (I've had a BFP at 10DPO but also had a BFN at 12DPO in a different pregnancy).

Thanks! I’ll go on my lunchbreak tomorrow and get on, im too impatient. If it is a BFN then i guess i can test again once im due on (permitting that i dont get my AF)

I know that feeling, I'm always telling people to wait to test until they've missed AF. Blatantly always test early myself

Tested today and it was negative, although im not due on for another two days! Im still spotting too so this is day 5! And no signs whatsoever of AF. I usually get moody and covered in hormonal spots - but my skin has actually completley cleared up these past few days! I didnt get an early response test though - hopefully AF doesnt arrive saturday!

Bumping this in the hope someone replies! Im now a day late for my period (never ever been late before, im ocasionally a day or two early). Ive had really light cramps for day now but nothing worth taking painkillers for (usually i get really bad cramps). Was due yesterday and the test was negative!!! Whats going on?

I've had plenty of cycles in my 2 years of ttc where I've spotted and it's not meant I'm preggers. I've also had a couple of cycles that have been longer for no apparent reason. I can only guess I ov'd later those cycles for some reason (I wasn't doing opks or bbt then). The cycle I did get a bfp I didn't spot at all.

So you could be pregnant or you could not be pregnant. Unfortunately, only a test will tell you for certain. Do you know exactly when you ov'd and how long your usual lp is? If not, it may be that you ov'd later than usual.

Wait a couple more days and test again if af doesn't turn up. And try to think of other things in the meantime. Every tww is long and fraught, allow yourself to relax while you wait for af or a bfp. Good luck.

Im going to get a test first thing tomorrow! I just feel ‘like im pregnant’ no obvious symptoms other than the spotting! Like i said im never late so this is especially unusual for me - finger crossed

I know what you mean soozc, wondering if all the stress from thinking that my discharge was IB has caused my period to delay - hope not.
