....to ovulate on cd10 when my period only finished two days ago?

Unlikely, I guess not impossible. But that's still a negative anyway and could still be a few days before it turns positive.

Ino it's negative but it looks pretty close just strange as I had a 4 day period last month and ovv'd on cd17 and this month I've had an 8 day period and it's already looking close and I'm only on cd10
