Ok, swore I wouldn't test until I'm one day late (which I think is this Sunday but my cycles are possibly out of whack following a loss at the start of the year. I'm currently on CD 26) but well, we all go a bit crazy with these things don't we?!

I think I can see the faintest of lines. Anyone else see it?

Sorry, I can't see anything, but it's early days still! Good luck Smile

HotCrossBunFight · 06/03/2018 12:11

I can't see anything but if you're not due on until Saturday then you're testing very early!

ImGoingForATwix · 06/03/2018 12:12

It hasn't photographed well. I can't see it in the photo either. Oops. Not a great start to the thread! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I need to test again with FMU I think.

Do not trust the very faint lines on clear blue easy read (diamond shaped) control box. They all come out like this. I’m pregnant now but last year I got loads of them even when my partner weed on it Grin my old one looks similar. Just trust red dye and FRERS

Ah, that sucks RLOU. That looks like mine does (naked eye - not the pic). I'll try and wait a couple of days.

I know I just had to make you aware because I hate these bloody tests, I’ve seen thread after thread of people thinking they were pregnant but getting negatives on all other tests. Of course in your case you could be pregnant and I hope you are Flowers

ImGoingForATwix · 06/03/2018 12:38

That's so annoying! I always though the hint of a line meant something 😫

I'll report back though. I have different (more expensive!) style of tests for confirmation (and some cheapo ones for in between!). I'll definitely try and wait 2 more days before using another cheapie and the weekend before the digital double checker. Having lots of cramps so I guess it could go 2 ways (I always cramp early pregnancy and AF). I bought tampons too 😥

Don’t let me crush your hopes, I could be wrong. Mostly faint lines are positives (unless evaps) it’s just this bloody brand there’s so many complaints if you google. If you are getting a faint line on a clearblue you will deffo have one on a FRER so good luck but best to try wait. Also, re the cramps, I got AF style cramping for the first three months of my pregnancy. It’s actually an early pregnancy symptom xx

RLOU88 · 06/03/2018 12:47

Sorry just re read your PP and see that you had cramping with previous pregnancy too x

ImGoingForATwix · 06/03/2018 12:53

Thanks, I'm glad you said. Keeps my emotions in check a bit. Yes, I get cramping for most of first trimester usually (although didn't with the one I lost oddly enough).

Looks like AF is on the way today. Either caught a chemical or, what I suspect more, those clear blue easy tests are indeed prone to giving the impression of a false positive (within the time frame for reading too!). Won't be buying them again. Onwards and upwards!

Get a frer! Got a bfp at 10dpo with one. They are brill.

ImGoingForATwix · 08/03/2018 07:45

Next month for sure. AF definitely showing it's face now I'm afraid!
