Hi to anyone reading this.
Basically what it says in the title. Husband had a vacestomy 7 years ago now. He has two children with ex and I have one child with ex we have been married 6 months now and been together 5 and half years. We so wanted children togeather so saved for a vacestomy reversal which happened Feb 2017. Ok went well, all healed nice and quickly and surgeon was happy. We started trying to conceive as soon as we could and was told to wait 4 weeks for the healing process. Sperm analysis came back after 3 months and results where good but 94% ANTI SPERM ANTI BODIES. we where gutted as have read online so many stories of anti sperm anti bodies affecting fertility and with a 94% that's pretty high!!! We called the hospital we had the analysis done and was reassured that despite the high reading of anti sperm anti bodies with my husband's sperm count returning at over 200 million he would expect us to conceive within one year as he said still over 70 million sperm swimming freely not affected by anti bodies. I have just turned 30 and my husband is 34 I honestly thought we would be one of the lucky couples and fall pregnant quite quick.
Here I am... a year later and no pregnany.
I feel lost and guess I am looking for some success stories of people who have convinced naturally with anti sperm anti bodies.
Thank you for reading.

My husband had a vasectomy reversal over 10 years ago and sadly despite trying there was never no pregnancies. Throughout the years the sperm quality / count decreased S.A less than 1 million.
We finally decided to try out IVF using ICIS and they still managed to find the odd couple of sperm. If this cycle isn't successful we have been informed about SSR (TESE).

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't yet had your BFP. We will be making an appointment soon to discuss our options and are thinking of ivf.
What is ssr?

SSR (surgical sperm retrieval)

Good luck with your appointment.
