Spotting and cramping PO but before implantation?

Hello lovely ladies,

I have come off the pill last month. DH are ttc but in a very relaxed way, so it was pure coincidence that we would get a bit intimate exactly when I was ovulating, last weekend (Fri-Sat). This happened a few times (ahem, we were snowed in!). Since the weekend:

• I had sharp pains in my left ovary (enough to woke me up at night)
• I had mild to medium cramping in my uterus
• Yesterday morning, I had a pinkish/brownish light discharge

I have read a lot about conception and while this might look like implantation bleeding it seems too early after conception! I am worried now and wondering whether I should call the doctors? I have never bled mid-cycle and it's freaking me out :/

Are you 100% sure you ovulated at the weekend?

I'm no expert, but I believe that cramps and pink discharge are also associated with ovulation, so could you be ovulating late? (In which case, go jump on your husband lol)
