So... I'm either 8 or 9dpo today. Yesterday I started having the feintest of light pink when wiping (sorry!). Probably wouldnt even notice if I wasn't trying to get pregnant. Today I had a horrible metal taste that started around 1pm and then about 4pm was so nauseous I had to go to the bathroom as thought I was actually going to be sick. I took a pregnancy test this lunchtime and it was negative. Is the light bleeding a sign I'm out, along with the negative test or is there still a slim chance? Period is due Thursday or Friday. Thanks

You're no thanks out until AF comes! I didn't have the symptoms you describe so I'm not much help but wishing you luck!

  • You're not out

Your most likely to get a positive if pregnant when you use first morning wee. It's when the hcg has had the longest to become the most concentrated. That afternoon test on 8 or 9 dpo is a wasted test.

Google pregnancy results by brand and click the countdown to pregnancy link if you like stats.

Pregnant enough for symptoms is pregnant enough for a positive test.

Thanks for your replies. I guess I will see what happens then but yes as u say, pregnant enough for symptoms is pregnant enough for a positive test. I just have a hard time accepting it each month. Really thought this could have been the month.
