Just wondering about what others went through. I have ben on the pill for nearly 10 years not planning on pregnancy yet but in the not to distant future I will be. How long did it take other people who were on the pill to get pregnant after stopping?

You can get pregnant straight away or it can take up to a year. There’s not really any way to tell how your body will deal with it as everyone is different

I would come off the pill 6 months before you want to start trying. My doctor told me to do this as it takes roughly 6 months for your body to readapt (everyone is different) obv use condoms instead until you are ready x

I’ll let you know lol came off the pill a couple of weeks ago so haven’t exactly been off it long 😂

Unfortunately no two people are the same and some people are very lucky come off the pill and get pregnant straight away others can take time.

I got pregnant the first month after I came off the pill and had been on it for 10 years. Anything is possible 🙂

I had been on the pill for 16 years, was very lucky and got pregnant 2nd cycle off.
I was prepared for a wait while my cycle settled, for me that was preferrable to coming off and accidentally getting pregnant sooner than I wanted.

I'm not pregnant yet but it took me 4 months before my cycles stabalised. first month was normal cycle length then i went 2 months with nothing and then the 4 month stabilised again. So I would come off before you want to ttc

I came off the pill mid December and I've only had 1 AF since. Wish I'd come off it sooner

I came off 2 1/2 weeks ago had a withdrawal bleed straight away and have just got a positive opk. I have had cramping the past few days though which now makes sense as ovulation cramps but after being on the pill nearly 12 years I had completely forgot what my normal body felt like when left to do its thing
