Opk people can you advise?

Trying to conceive dc2, dc1 took a year to conceive and now 9 months on from a miscarriage I really want to tip everything in our favour as I really do want a small age gap if we can. So this month I've started opk, cycle day 12 currently, the last 4 day's opk have been negative as in no second line at all.

I'd say no I had quite a few like this a few days apart and then got a very clear positive, keep testing and DTD every other day atleast then your covered. My opks always have a second line some days barely there some days dark but not positive. Don't test with fmu and a positive would show within about 3mins x

So these are todays 1st at 10:30 and 2nd 14:30. Any thoughts? 10:30 looks positive to me but it was first morning pee (toddler decided to have a midnight to 4 am party so I had a lie-in) Second one is much lighter, does this mean than surge is over?

Your not meant to test with fmu for this reason wee is more concentrated/stronger so gives misleading results x

To be honest the first one you posted I’d say was nearly positive so I think you might have ovulated as it’s gone lighter now (ignoring the first morning one). What I do is use the same tests as you but I also bought the clear blue reader and as soon as the lines are relatively close in colour I use the clear blue as it will give you a specific answer if you’re about to ovulate.

I like the look of the clear blue, no trying to work out whether lines are darker than each other!

I notice you said your opk went from white to almost positive quickly. I'm having lots of O symptoms but my opks the past 2 days have been so faint. I hope mine go the same way as yours!

Yes 8days no gradual darkening, I'm no expert but maybe test a couple times a day if you having symptoms so you don't miss surge.

I'm still in shock really that I'm pregnant, now have fingers crossed that it'll stick.
