Advice on when to poas

Hi I'm trying to avoid poas as had a bad experience of a chemical pregnancy in jan.

I ovulated on 16th Feb, haven't taken any tests yet. Should have had AF yesterday or today. My normal cycle is 31 days. Do you think I've had a late ovulation? I feel the symptoms of my period are here but it isn't coming. I'll be late as of tomorrow. Would a test show up yet?

It was positive
I did four more just to confirm !

@Fidgety31 congratulations!! I've had the odd cramps but usually on the morning of AF i get intense cramps and extremely heavy period. Maybe I'm just late could be stress!

I was genuinely surprised and didn’t expect it at all but the things that made me test were
Normally I get sore boobs in the middle of the month that either last til my period or go away.
This time they went away but then came back a few days before my period was due.
I also had a very dry nose and mouth but assumed I was getting a cold. Same with dizzy spells - thought I was just getting a cold.

I’ve been putting testing off I’m due today nothing so far but the normal feeling that Af is on her wicked way. I have a test but too scared as I don’t want the disappointment. Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed and sending lots of baby dust 😊

So I caved and did a first response... BFN. I can imagine AF is on her way and just late. FR are usually super sensitive

Oh no :( still fingers crossed for you. I’ve also caved BFN for me. Still have one left but will leave that for next week in case. This is my longest cycle since coming off my pill. I hate this waiting and guessing when af will rear her ugly face lol xx
