Long cycles

Does anyone have any tips for shortening cycles. It took us two years to have DD. I was going to be referred by my doctor then finally got my positive test.
I am convinced it took us so long because of my long cycles often between 40 to 44 days. With one or two cycles being over 60 days. I have also read that long cycles mean your egg quality isn't as good. I am also concerned I may have pcos.
Planning to start trying for DC2 soon so would really appreciate some advice. Also I have been told because my cycles were all over the place I should have been referred earlier to test for things such as pcos. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Agnus castus is something you could try.

Shoulda coulda woulda. I'm in a similar position but my gp would t refer me until two years either. You may find they support you even less for ttc a second child, as you aren't eligible for ivf on the nhs.
