I have an average cycle of 35 days. Tested CD 20-26 cycle one no ovulation AF on CD 33.
Cycle 2 I tested CD 11-23 before I gave up to save my sticks AF on CD 37. I'm convinced my body is doing it on purpose. As I have been tracking my periods and for 10 months AF on CD 35, I start testing and it feels like I'm just POAS for nothing!

Should I start later and go right up to AF? I'm scared of missing it but it's costing me a fortune!

I've been using CB advanced and internet cheapies. I got the flashing smile Cycle 2 for seven days before I gave up. Not even a faint line on the cheapie.

Have you tried temping instead? All those ovulation tests can tell you is that your body is gearing up to ovulate and if you have a short LH surge, you might miss it (I didn't get a completely positive line on the cycle I got pregnant!)
BBT thermometers can be picked up quite cheaply and if you temp for a few cycles, it'll tell you if you're ovulating regularly with more accuracy than OPKs.

Thank you I'll look into this one. I'm going for a blood test to check I am ovulating but by the time I've had the test and get an app for results I'll have been through one maybe two cycles. Frustrating! Honestly never realised it would be this hard. Women in work today saying how they got pregnant on first try and I wanted to cry. We are on 4 months now, 2 cycles using the sticks.

I don't like the clear blue advanced. The month we conceived, I never got a solid smiley so they clearly don't always work!

With the cheap ones, I found the best thing to do was to test at least at 2pm but preferably at 11am, 2pm and sometime early evening. I then went with whatever was beginning to get darkest as I could see the trend!

I also temped, checked cervical mucas and used fertility friend app. That way I could tell for sure when I ovulated.
