Pregnancy Test

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted an opinion on a recent test,

I took a clearblue test on Saturday and it came up with two parallel blue lines, along with the blue line to show the test had worked, but no vertical positive line.
I did the second test in the pack sunday morning and it came up with a thick negative line, but no line to show the test had worked. I left this on the side and when i went back to throw it there was some smudging above the negative which later turned into a faint positive line.
I've seen where you shouldn't read a negative test after 10 minutes and i dont feel pregnant and showing no symptoms.
Out of curiosity and wanting to be sure I have since done a digital and a different brand regular test and both have worked and shown negative.. Do you think i should not read too much into the 2nd test?

TIA

Sounds like a dodgy test. Colour bleed does happen and shows a false positive. Having said that, you're not out til AF rears her ugly head

I’ll wait a few more days, I had a doctors appointment yesterday about something else and mentioned it whilst I was there. They did a test whilst I was there and this was negative.
I’m on the pill and my partner is careful as well so there’s no reason to think I am, just with the test I done it ended up looking faintly positive. The negative was very clear for sometime but no indicator to say it worked, then a smudge appeared at the bottom which then went into a faint cross but after about an hour

Just as a follow up to this, the first picture was up to 15 minutes after the test and the second is a couple of hours later when i went to throw it away, which shows a faint line possibly evap line?
I have had alot of stomach cramps, however i've had these since last year so I would think its unrelated.
I last did a test on the saturday after my last message which was a digital test which was negative, and did another digitial on saturday morning just gone which was again negative. I would assume a positive would of shown up by now and its been 3 weeks and have done 4 tests since the faint line shown.

This type of clearblue test is commonly linked with false positives and line shadowing. There’s so many threads about it. Don’t use clearblue unless digital is my advice. Good luck !
