Is anybody else hiding the fact that they're TTC?

I feel like I have this big secret at the moment, because only my Husband and one of my friends know that I'm no longer on the pill!

Just wondering whether anybody else is keeping it a surprise? :)

I've always hidden it in the past. Only my husband and I knew that I'd had the implant removed. My best friend had fertility problems so didn't like to talk to her about it. This time the cat is out of the bag as a few people know I had a miscarriage so they're already aware we were trying and are expecting it. It's hard to keep quiet though isn't it!

I think it's fairly normal to hide it from most people so wouldn't worry, but equally if you need to share it with someone just to be able to talk to someone that's fine too!

My best friend knows because we'd had several conversations in the run up to our weddings about both trying after them. Both our mums know. I suspect others think we are but they haven't asked if so (and I would probably fob it off with "at some point soon probably" if people did ask).

HidCat - so difficult, especially as my Sister is due next week so there's been a lot of baby talk!

MiserableMouse - I'm deliberately trying to stay quiet, as my Mum can be a bit much and I just can't deal with her asking me every 5 seconds lol you'd think she didn't have 7 Grandchildren already! She keeps asking us if we want children, and we just reply with a non-committal "mm" sound lol
