Hello I'm new here and this is my 1st post.
So me and my partner been ttc, its only been a few months but I'm slightly confused as to what to do next. I'm usually 28cycle and started what I thought was spotting on cycle day 24. So I got all excited about it being implantation bleeding as it was light and pink on that day. Cd25 it was red all day with small clots, put a pad on but it just left a thin line on it. Cd26 slight red tinged with brown and cd27 slight brown in the morning then finished. Still held hope that it was implantation even though day2 of bleeding was very red and heavy than I'd read about, so I waited for my period day which was 20th Feb. Nothing came. Did numerous tests (earliest today) and all neg. So I've logged that bleed as a period. I've been using a period/ovulation tracker, but now I don't know what to go by in terms of when I ovulate. Do I calculate now as I used to going by a 28cycle or treat last one as a 24 and go by that..and.. could I be pregnant but not picking up on tests? I was convinced of IB and displayed symptoms. Now I think it's all in my head and it was purely a coincedance i bled around the day I should have if IB:/ thanks for reading..Aeysha x

You could try using signs of ovulation - cervical mucus, ovulation predictor kits or try tracking your basal body temperature.

Don't just rely on an app. No matter how regular your cycle normally is, your body is not a machine and no algorithm can predict your cycle without good data.

Try temping. You may have just ovulated early in your last cycle, hence the early period. You can't confidently confirm ovulation without a temperature shift. Ovulation predicter kits only predict.
