I’m seriously not trying to offend you but do you really need anyone to tell you that’s a positive test?

Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 18:24

i wasn't asking it it was positive i was asking about evap likes as i hear they are quite common

twobambinos · 26/02/2018 18:31

Evap lines are usually very feint. That is a clear positive.

Astrid2 · 26/02/2018 18:42

Jesus Christ how are people this stupid?! That's an incredibly clear positive. FFS

BrutusMcDogface · 26/02/2018 18:43

Very, very, VERY clear positive.

cookielove · 26/02/2018 18:47
Confused
HotCrossBun12 · 26/02/2018 18:58

You're all being a bit mean. Congratulations, OP Flowers

Celebelly · 26/02/2018 19:00

Congratulations but this seems like a blatant excuse just to post a picture of a blazing positive Confused I don't think anyone's being mean but there are plenty of people struggling to conceive here and going through a hard time and posting this under the guise of needing 'advice' is just a bit thoughtless.

Celebelly · 26/02/2018 19:01

For future reference, an evap line is an evaporation line so can't appear when the test is soaking wet and just been used. They are also usually grey or white.

Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 19:19

don't know why anyone bothers asking for help on here no1 knows anything about me i've never been pregnant before and after trying for a long long long time you have absolutely no idea of my story and after reading so many evap stories i just thought i'd ask but do you know what apart from the positive comments screw the lot of you

OP posts:
Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 19:20

@Astrid2 you have absolutely no idea what ive been through, no need for that comment

PassiveAggressivePamela · 26/02/2018 19:22

Congrats! Try one of the Clearblue digital ones to see how far along you are!

8DaysAWeek · 26/02/2018 19:25

You'll have read enough then to know this is absolutely undeniably NOT an evap. Insensitive to those of us who are having difficulties.
Congratulations and I wish you all the best.

silkpyjamasallday · 26/02/2018 19:28

Congratulations OP! When I took tests when I found out I was pregnant with DD the lines showed up almost instantly, I did four and then got a clearblue digital to be sure as I thought you had to wait a while for the lines to show up and thought they must be faulty tests, and sure enough I was 5 weeks pregnant. If the line shows up quickly and so strong you have high levels of hcg which is a good thing. Time to book in with a midwife!

Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 19:29

no not insensitive but how about very anxious terrified stressed overwhelmed and panic stricken looking for some reassurance and advice thought that's what this forum was for

OP posts:
Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 19:30

Thank you for the helpful comments thought i really appreciate them

OP posts:
Howaboutanotherusername · 26/02/2018 19:33

after maybe close to 1000+ tests to finally get a positive i just couldn't believe it could be true that's all i just assumed it must be an evap because i've been so unlucky i didn't think it would warrant this much nastiness

OP posts:
PersianCatLady · 26/02/2018 19:38

Congratulations OP

MillieTant2018 · 26/02/2018 19:52

Congratulations OP that’s one of the strongest positives I’ve ever seen!

LittleBitOfStrange · 26/02/2018 20:15

Congratulations. Ignore the bitter cranks with nothing better to do xx

Desmondo2016 · 26/02/2018 20:34

Honestly some of you bitter arseholes should be ashamed. Congratulations OP ... a very strong positive test.

Pibbee · 26/02/2018 23:07

Good god....Why do you feel the need to ask if that is positive?!

PumpkinPii · 26/02/2018 23:13

Think it's a bit strong to call people arseholes for stating the obvious. If anyone has read about evap lines they'll know that isn't one. The original post read like a joke OP - it's glaringly obvious.

Congratulations Thanks

unicorncow · 27/02/2018 01:04

Congratulations, wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

Desmondo2016 · 27/02/2018 01:06

Or it read like someone who is so disbelieving after a hellish journey wracked with heartbreak and disappointment that they couldn't let themselves believe what appeared to be obvious.
