Different brand pregnancy tests

So I had an embryo transfer done a couple weeks ago and given a pregnancy test to do today. I did the test the hospital gave me (brand was Alere) and there was the faintest line, you could barely see it. I then did a FRER and the line was so strong it was almost as dark as the control line. Does anyone understand why there would be such a difference between the two tests?

FRER are very sensitive, I think they detect the pregnancy hormone HCG at very low levels - 6mlu or something? Perhaps the other wasn’t as sensitive.

But congratulations!!

It will be the hog levels in the tests being so different, I think the average a frer picks up is 6.5hcg where as a clear blue is 20hcg.
Google hcg levels in various tests, as I've explained that terribly!

But

CONGRATULATIONS Thanks
