Evening everyone, hope you are all well. So, after 10 weeks and 4 days we lost our baby. We have our final scan this Monday just to confirm everything is clear, physically and emotionally I'm alright but I just want it all over with now and to carry on, which is hard and seems like a horrible thing to say. I've almost come to the end of the bleed but what is normally a recommended timescale to start again and when do i start with the OPK's again? Sorry if TMI.

So sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking. You can try again as soon as you feel ready. The doctors may recommend waiting a cycle but that's mainly for dating purposes as if you were fall pregnant again straight away then you wouldn't have the anxiety over dating the pregnancy if you wait for one cycle. We started ttc straight away but I didn't bother with opk's straight after. Hope it happens for you soon

So sorry Funky. We lost our baby at 10 weeks 4 days too back in November. It's really shit!! Glad to hear you feel ready to try again though, I was pretty much the same (so I don't think what you said was horrible, I get it). I didn't ovulate the first month but did in January but my periods were really weird and I ovulated on day 6 or something. My last period a couple weeks ago was the first really normal one. That said, everyone is different...but perhaps just have a go without too much pressure! Don't know about you but we got pregnant very easily first time around, just one "go"! Haha. The fertility friend app has really helped me understand my body a bit more. Embarrassed to say I didn't even know the length of my cycle before getting pregnant, never really needed to! Good luck

Omg @Sophiestripe all those details you mentioned before are exactly the same as us! We got pregnant first time using Fertility Friend, we were just pretty much wingin it before but you're right, it's amazing how ignorant I was of my body and the cycles, we just thought we weren't able to have children. First month using it and it happened, that was Christmas day. We have our final scan tomorrow to make sure everything is complete. That's great help lovely, thank you! Xxx
