Are we in with a chance?

We are TTC#1. Had a MMC found at 12 week scan in November and a chemical last cycle. This cycle we had a friend staying over FW and it really put DH off his stride so we only DTD 3 days before and then 2 days before ovulation.

I know the Internet says up to 5 days before is possible but in reality and from your experience are we still in with a chance?

Oh ye. Your fertile window is 5 days before ovulation, so you have as good a chance as if you did it on the day of ovulation. I have been doing it on day of ovulation for the past 7 cycles with no luck. I have done some research and DTD 2/3 days before means the sperm will be sitting there waiting when the egg drops on ovulation day. Missing ovulation day isnt the end of the world.
