Line eyes?

Is there another line here or am I fooling myself? I feel like I can see it, DH says no. Unlikely as we have secondary infertility

I’m 1 or 2 days before my due date so probably it should be darker but having said that I took a test 3 days before for ds1 and it was negative at the time.

Line eyes?

How long is this after you did the test? There is definitely something there but clear blues are notorious for evaps Sad

I would go and buy a FRER just to be sure x

mowglik · 24/02/2018 08:29

This is after the 3 min time though it does say the result comes up within 1 min. I thought I could see something in that time and then it cleared and finally after three min that was left. So frustrating!

I actually felt nauseous yesterday and been getting cramps and very sleepy which are classic signs for me...

Having seen many threads about these types of tests, I just wouldn’t trust my eyes now. Thy do seem to be terrible for evap lines.

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 24/02/2018 08:36

Considering this is a Clearblue it could be either. You need to get a FRER and test again. Good luck!

mowglik · 24/02/2018 08:49

Bollocks is this a clear blue thing? There was two in the pack so will use the second one tomorrow since I’ve already pissed the money away Sad

Does the colour of the line dictate whether it’s an evap or not? It is a blue shadow rather than grey

It is unfortunately a Clearblue thing. I wouldn't bother with Clearblue at all apart from the digitals.

Hold your wee for 4 hours and use a FRER for a much more reliable result.

mowglik · 24/02/2018 09:11

Ah thanks I will try and get a FRER today...there was a time I used to have hundreds of 10ug tests on hand!

I think that's slightly promising as when I had a negative with that test it was stark white although that was at 3 mins I didn't check it after that. Definitely get a FRER.

PinkAvocado · 24/02/2018 12:22

Someone a few days ago posted what I really thought was a positive but ended up not being. I hadn’t realised just how unreliable these tests are.

That doesn’t mean you’re out though!

mowglik · 24/02/2018 22:42

Did a FRER this evening and it was clearly a negative result Sad

Looking unlikely now - I’ve had collectively 45 months of bfns so heartbreaking as it is, it’s not a surprise. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Oh no. I’m sorry Flowers

mowglik · 25/02/2018 08:57

Thanks pink, did the remaining CB and it was negative. That’s the only false positive I’ve ever had, didn’t even know it was possible. Gutted

I didn’t know they even happened until I saw how many people have experienced them on here.

peeonastickaddict · 25/02/2018 20:05

Mine was like that this week, I'm going to wait until this wed to test again as my period is due. I got false positives with FRERs in the past
