Scared to believe I'm pregnant

Long story short my boyfriend and I decided in September last year I would stop taking the pill and let nature take its course. If we got pregnant then we would be extremely happy but didn't want to start the pressure of 'trying'. Since stopping the pill my periods have been very irregular but this month it seemed to be taking a little too long to come. So on a whim we took a pregnancy test, then another 2 just to be sure lol! All 3 said positive and the clearblue digitao said pregnant 2-3. This is our first experience and we are to be truthful a little unbelieving atm. But I just needed to talk to some people who have experience. I will be going to the Dr next week to get a check up and hopefully confirmation. Sorry for the long winded post, but it is good to tell someone what is going on.

Congratulations!
Usually doctors won’t do anything to confirm the pregnancy.
It’s normal to just book in with your midwife. It’s an exciting time but a little bit scary. Enjoy each day as it comes (especially before any possible morning sickness kicks in)
I’m 26 weeks and still not convinced I’m going to have a baby by the summer. Smile

Congratulations. Look up on the NHS webiste to see what not to eat. In our area you just ring the GP receptionist who give you the number to ring the midwife.
