Chances of getting pregnant on last day of period

Hi guys. So I had sex on the last day of my period, which was the 17th February. I’m not ovulating until the 25th of February; but the sex was unprotected and I’m just wondering, are the chances of me getting pregnant quite slim or not? I’m not trying to get pregnant so it’s playing on my mind a little.

Very high, I got pregnant once in exactly that situation. Sperm can live up to a week so may be ready to fertilise the egg as soon as it is released. Did you take the morning after pill at all? I guess it's too late for it now?

Hi- can't help I'm afraid but I'm currently waiting for my period this month after having done the exact same. It's due in 3 days and not so much as a cramp yet so fingers crossed for me! We have a 13 week old baby so please God don't let it be 😭

Very unlikely but not impossible. You're normally fertile around 14 days from the first day of your last period.

Yes and if your period lasts for six or seven days, you have sex on day seven and sperm can live up to a week.... Not to mention if you ovulate a day or two early as occasionally happens, it's not an exact science. Not that unlikely at all.

Well it’s too late for the morning after pill which is very irresponsible I know, but my usual cycle lasts for about 26 days and my period usually lasts for around 4 days. I’m hoping that I don’t get pregnant but based on my cycle length, personally would you say it’s unlikely?

Highly unlikely. I did my masters degree thesis on ovulation. There's a slim chance but it's highly highly unlikely.

You say it's too late for morning after pill. Are you waiting for your period? Remember periods aren't ever 'late'. It's that you ovulated late. The time between ovulation and first day of period is fixed give or take a day or 2.

Unlikely, but not impossible. If you had sex on day 4, and ovulated half way though your cycle it's 9 days between.

Also, your womb is still clearing out from that cycle, so a pregnancy would be unlikely to begin.
