Glad to hear your still with us and well done especially on a Sunday 👏👏👏

Beck1988 · 18/03/2018 18:42

Well I think af has made an appearance today 😡! Least didn't have to wait long if it is 27days post miscarriage. Hopefully next month for another Christmas baby! Daughter was due New Year's Day born on 3jan x

Claire138 · 18/03/2018 19:57

Hi girls, hope you are all doing well! Just catching up. Had a lovely weekend away in the lakes (in n.ireland) with friends and really felt like I got my head showered! 9dpo and I feel actually ok! I’ve got zero symptoms but I don’t feel like I’m cracking up. This is the first time I felt like myself for a long time! Still hoping I get BFP but I need to keep getting on with my life...don’t know how long this positivity will last 😂

Sorry @boboelephant AF came but it nice to get either AF or BFP so you can come out of limbo! Good luck with the Zumba 💃 I have terrible rhythm so have always avoided those classes!

Sorry @strawberrye for BFN never easy to see.

Claire138 · 18/03/2018 20:00

@beck1988 sorry AF came but definitely good sign your cycle coming back swiftly!

@boboelepant just seen your comment! Well done! For mentally and physically getting through it 😂

hayleyfx · 18/03/2018 20:29

@Bobo I’m glad you made it 😂 good on you!
@Beck1988 sorry af showed but hopefully next month has better news for you ☺️🤞🏼
8dpo tomorrow and cracking up... I want to test so badly, trying to stop myself though 😂

strawberrye · 18/03/2018 20:58

@Boboelephant @Cakelaur @Sloeberrygin @Primrose16 @Claire138 thank you all. I think I've been extra grumpy as I've been at work all weekend too. Being able to vent to you lovely ladies who understand how I feel is so helpful xx

strawberrye · 18/03/2018 21:11

Which basal body thermometers do people use? Think I might start temping

Cakelaur · 18/03/2018 21:35

Ooooh @strawberrye yay.. another bbt convert!! Just go on amazon and get a bbt thermometer. Mine was about £15. Then I use kindara app (free) and fertility friend (£27 a year or something) FF predicts everything and tells when O has happened etc.

Cakelaur · 18/03/2018 21:37

Sorry @Boboelephant AF is shit. But now you get to try for a Christmas miracle! 😃🎄🎅🏼

Boboelephant · 18/03/2018 22:15

Thanks ladies!! 💃💃
@Claire138 glad you had a lovely weekend. It's really important to take time to rejuvenate and feel yourself again. I'm trying to do that now too. You can get so lost in this ttc world can't you!?
Haha thanks @Cakelaur. But if you and I both get our Christmas miracles, I am definitely going to harass you for cake! 🎂👍

weasledee · 18/03/2018 22:35

I've been temping this month but apart from the big drop before AF I don't really know what I'm looking out for!
Ladies help! :)
(I too will need cake if we get a Christmas baby ;) )

Daffodil77 · 19/03/2018 06:11

11dpo and big temp drop this morning :(
I really thought this month was it.
On to cycle 6 post-mc.

Boboelephant · 19/03/2018 06:58

Sorry @Daffodil77, that's rubbish. ☹ Sending hugs
@Hope137 and @PassTheAfterEights how did you get on over the weekend? Tests??

Daffodil77 · 19/03/2018 07:15

I think we'll be on holiday for fertile week this time so hopefully less stressed than normal. Wish I could have a cycle where I "give up" as that seems to work for most people.

Daffodil77 · 19/03/2018 07:22

@weasledee I find my temp fluctuates in until ovulation. It normally drops a bit and stabilises just before ovulation then increases after ovulation. For me, it's highlighted an issue with my hormones in the luteal phase since my MC. The temps either didn't incease a lot of started dropping 5 days before AF. This month they were much more stable when I used the progesterone cream so I'll continue using that each month.

Boboelephant · 19/03/2018 08:05

I hear you there @Daffodil77!! People are always saying to me that they got pregnant when they stopped trying, or gave up or just stopped thinking about it. My question is how do you switch your brain off? Even if I didn't use opks I'd still know where I was in my cycle and I'd drive myself crazy thinking I was missing an opportunity if we didn't DTD then. I'd love to go back to a just 'let it happen' state of mind but no idea how to do that!

weasledee · 19/03/2018 08:09

Thanks for that daffodil

PassTheAfterEights · 19/03/2018 08:20

Thanks @bobotheelephant @NoCatsHere @primrose16 @Mimilicious013 tested again this morning & no change. Feel totally panicked ATM. No baby 'til 34 and three months post mc = no good news :( packing up the house to move on Friday which is definitely a good distraction (no excuses to avoid heavy lifting!), sure I'll feel better once AF shows and another cycle's underway. Very good luck to all yet to test this week x

Cakelaur · 19/03/2018 12:22

@Boboelephant DEAL!! If we both get BFP this cycle.... I'll send you a Congratulation Cake!!
@weasledee show us a pic of your chart and I can explain what's happening if you like. And Cake for you too!!

To anyone.... Cake all round for Christmas Babies!!!

Sorry @Daffodil77 shitty AF has got everyone this weekend! My temps do the same in LP. But that before the mc as well.

@PassTheAfterEights I feel the same. 33, first bfp after 10 months, the mc. Now onto 3rd month and nothing. Not totally hopeful!

my mum said she read some article about a woman who was 39 and it took her 4 months to get pregnant!!! I was like yeah she's lucky... my mum was like... see it can happen!! Hahaha!! I nearly punched her!!! Not quite sure what her point was but I ended up walking off so I didn't have to hear the end of it! Haha

dulwichdays · 19/03/2018 13:32

Sorry - I've been AWOL recently as I've been away in Lanzarote taking a break and getting some much needed sunshine. I've tried to catch up as best as I can

Congratulations to those who get their much wanted BFP's.

To those who didn't, it sucks doesn't it. I'm not sure exactly where am I in in the cycle - if I go by the pre-MC I should expect my AF next Monday, but post-MC could be anytime up until next Friday....or maybe even longer!

I went to my GP this morning for a review and asked a few questions. I couldn't have got more patronising answers...she basically explained to me that the sperm needs to meet the egg at the right time and that's how you get pregnant!! FFS....

I'm trying to be more positive and hopeful, more like my DH is, but its not easy. I've also joined a gym and just signed up for a 10k run in October, to give myself something to focus on and to stop sitting on the couch and comfort eating.

Sorry for the long post - I guess when you don't post for a week it all comes out at once!

Sloeberrygin · 19/03/2018 14:02

@dulwichdays another one joining the gym... you healthy lot are making me feel bad for my laziness Grin Maybe I need to rediscover my motivation and get doing some exercise.

@Beck1988 Sorry AF arrived, though as you say at least you didn't have long to wait. And sorry @Daffodil77 too. I suppose the only posiitve thing is that you're at least out of the horrid TWW limbo. I always find that despite the awful disappointment it's kind of a relief to get AF- if I'm not pregnant that cycle then let's just get on with the next cycle! I think it's the waiting that's the worst.

I'm feeling a bit negative at the moment, with the bleeding/AF or whatever it is going on for so long it's feeling like this mc is going on forever. I just feel like I'll never get pregnant again. I need to start thinking more positively!

hayleyfx · 19/03/2018 14:41

Sorry about the bfn @passtheaftereights it’s rubbish Sad

So I caved and took a test before bed last night at only 7dpo Blush (I have loads of internet cheapies though if that justifies it haha) I could see a VERY faint line on it, I mean so faint that you really have to concentrate to see it 😂 but I’m 90% sure it was there, so I retested first thing this morning and it was a BFN. Not counting myself out because I’m only 8dpo but just pretty confused, thinking I mistook a mark on the test or something for a faint line? If that’s possible? Lol... I have no idea but going to test again in 2 or 3 days with a FRER (if I can wait that long Blush) just starting to think that I really can’t trust those eBay cheapies, they got my hopes up for nothing! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Beck1988 · 19/03/2018 15:03

Well I thinks it's af? Very very light (pretty much just when I wipe!) tiny bit red then brown? Hoping it really is af so I can get back to trying next week! Im so inpatient! X

Claire138 · 19/03/2018 15:28

I was actually thinking about you recently @dulwichdays but remembered you were on holiday. Glad you got plenty of sunshine! Beautiful sunny day here today but not quite warm enough to be sunbathing yet 🤣 sorry about the gp experience, I find they can be really hit or miss. Good idea trying to be more positive, that’s what I have decided to do (as of 2 days a go). 10dpo so ask again in a couple of days and I might have a different attitude.

Sorry @daffodil77 is it just a temp drop? AF hasn’t actually shown her ugly face yet?

@hayleyfx oh that is cruel. I agree, you should wait a couple more days and get FRER. I am trying to wait to 12dpo and so far I am hanging on.

@beck1988 sorry AF got you but at least now you can get forward thinking to next cycle!

@cakelaur my mum can sometimes come out with shit like that. My mum is usually amazing in all the advice she gives me, but this is the one topic she just can’t quite get it. I think it just comes back to only people who have went through it who can empathise. Loving all the cake...that’s motivation in itself!

Eastend2015 · 19/03/2018 17:07

Hi all feeling more positive today after a lovely birthday weekend and a bit of sunshine today, even if it is bloody cold! Does anyone fancy meeting in RL? Am on London/ Essex border in Buckhurst Hill and work in Canary Wharf. And/ or maybe we could do some kind of thread challenge to lift our spirits and perhaps raise money and awareness for miscarriage association. Just a thought, maybe you ladies would prefer to stay private but I’m in a “fuck this shit” kind of mood... also if one more person asks me about number 2 there will be punches!!
