My OH had a vasectomy reversal a couple of weeks ago (the vasectomy was done 9 years ago) and we’ve just got a couple of questions that we’re hoping someone on here can help us with!

The specialist said that he’d only been able to reattach one side during the op, he said it shouldn’t make any difference to the success of the reversal (and obviously we trust him because it’s his job!) but just wondered if anyone out there had success stories that could reassure us both?!

We’ve had a letter with an appointment for the sperm analysis (bless him, he’s not looking forward to doing it into a cup!) but we were just wondering how long it takes for the results to come back?

I’ve read a few things on various forums about people buying microscopes and looking for active sperm themselves? Me and my OH had joked about this but I didn’t realise it was an actual thing?! We’re curious now though and wondered what kind of microscope we’d need?
