Sex everyday or every other

So I've read on a few post that sex everyday in ur fertile week isn't good but sex every other day is better ?

Sex every day is great if you can manage it but the risk is that you get exhausted/it stops being pleasurable/the pressure gets too much for him before you get to ovulation. Lots of people find it easier to aim for every other day instead and that’s generally the medical recommendation too. Sperm quantity is higher if he has 48 hours to recover between tries so you don’t lose out much by not doing it every single day.

A new study recently showed a males second ejaculate is the best. They compared it to the first line of soldiers going out to battle.. (they’ve been sat somewhere) and it’s more like the second lot can succeed. Random!

If possible have sex twice within an hour! On the day and run up to the day you’re due to ovulate

lozzalou93 holy crackers. I just said that to my DH. He raised his eyebrows and smiled. He thinks its a challenge he is up for, but in reality we all know most men cant handle it haha.

Every other. The doers needs to build up over a few days, allegedly. Well, it worked for me and dh.

I had sex twice day before ov, 3 times on, 3 times day after then twice next day. It really is dependent on the couple! Conceived 3 months off pill after 10 years constant use! Do what’s right for you both 😀

My doctor told me every 3-4 days so the sperm can mature

We did it every other day in general. But on the high/peak days every day.

My biology teacher in school taught us that sperm cells take approximately 2 days to mature. I'm thinking that, even assuming a man's 'stash' is more than one ejaculation, after a while he'd only manage to get you unfinished ones that are not moving properly or at all. So yes, every other day is best.

The ‘every other day’ myth has been totally debunked.
The more you have sex, the more sperm is produced encouraging healthy production. And well...common sense also dictates that the more sperm you put up there, the greater your chances, plain and simple maths. We had sex at least once a day (high sex drives) and got pregnant really quickly (5mths) at the ages of 39 and 40. My 11wk old baby is sat on my knee right now!
Don’t feel pressured to have sex often if you’re not up for it, even once in your cycle could be successful, but also don’t worry because you really can’t have sex too much either!

I’ve conceived every other day, twice every day and every day. It doesn’t make much difference.

I am a very very long way past all of this thank goodness - but went through the horror of 5 yrs of infertility before being blessed with 3 dcs. In that period , I had the good luck to be treated by the amazing Prof Robert Winston - who told me his no.1 tip for getting pregnant. - "it is often simply a numbers game. - the more you make love with your husband (early 80's vocab ) the higher your chances are of getting pregnant . Do it as much as you can. Never miss an opportunity. The only thing I can guarantee is that if you don't have sex you won't get pregnant ".
It worked for us. 5yrs for number 1 (following 2 failed IVF) . 3 months for No 2 !! and 4 yrs for number 3. No contraception at any point. Simply random working sperm and egg.

Tbh we just had a lot of sex especially in the week I was fertile. Got pregnant first month trying with all three. I do think the more the better!
