First response Rapid results

Hi ladies, just out of interest does anyone know the sensitivity of the first response rapid results test please? I've noticed they are on offer in ASDA but I'm not sure they are as sensitive as the first response early result which I usually use and seem more expensive! Tia x

I don’t think the are as sensitive. The packaging says test from day of missed period for rapid response where as early response it says test from 4 days before missed period. Personally I wouldn’t test with any test until first day of missed period. Might as well pee on a tenner as if it’s negative which could totally be because you have tested too early you will test again anyway. Tough to wait I know! If you’re absolutely desperate to POAS do your bank balance a favour and get some ICs. Good luck!

Tenners are waterproof now though completely get what you mean though. I’ve spent so much money on FRER’s which have turned out to be negative. I use them as have had so many false positives/evap lines from clear blue and even pink dye ICs.

FRER have always been pretty conclusive for me. It’s just resisting the temptation to test early. I’ve been made aware of a few chemicals because of this and it’s so disheartening.

Thanks ladies. I'm deliberately testing early as I've had 2 early losses one at 6 weeks the other at 5 and my GP/DH are considering seeing a specialist so want to know. I'm very aware that is could be bfn even if it's positive but would rather know as early as possible given our situation so we know whether I'm having reoccurring chemicals/losses or my AF is just late if that makes sense x

If it helps I've always got my bfps (3 successful and 2 losses that I know of) at 10dpo previously and whilst I know every pregnancy is different for us it's money well spent for diagnostic purposes only. I wouldn't get my hopes up even if it was a bfp. Testing on Sunday so we shall see x
